At some point in everyone's life, transition may seem overwhelming. Counseling can make a difference --- to help you take charge of your life and feel better about yourself and your world.

Transition can be a confusing and difficult time and can cloud your thinking. Transition has three distinct stages.

The Ending ·Disengagement
·Loss of identity
·Disorientation
The Neutral Zone ·In limbo
·Impulsive behavior
·Experimentation
·Regrouping
·Finding out what you really want
The New Beginning ·Inner change
·Reaching the goal

  • Don't rush the process.
  • Be aware of why you are uncomfortable.
  • Look at the three stages of the transition.
  • Take care of yourself in small ways.
  • Talk to a trusted friend or professional.
  • See the change as an opportunity for learning.
