Spring Groups


After September 11th

   The group will:

  • process the events of September 11th and their personal impact.
  • begin to work through loss.
  • address feeling safe at home and work.
  • talk about helping children feel safe.
  • look at what has changed and goals for the future.

Six consecutive Mondays 7-9 pm, beginning April 8, 2002.

 

Single Again: Getting Back to You

A group to connect and support women who have been recently separated or divorced and help them begin to move through the transition. The therapist will use Rebuilding: When Your Relationship Ends as a psycho-educational base for the sessions.

Six consecutive Wednesdays 7-9 pm, beginning April 3, 2002.

 

Couples: Connecting & Growing

A group for couples who want to enhance their relationship.

   The group will:

  • share and learn from other couples.
  • learn strategies to improve communication.
  • set personal goals for each couple while in the group.
  • provide an opportunity to share thoughts and feelings re what makes one feel close to his/her partner.
  • practice techniques that will lessen stress in the relationship.
  • look at the growth of the individuals as well as the relationship.
  • set future couple goals.

Four consecutive Saturdays, beginning April 13 with the time to be announced.
